Satan: the Love-Hate Relationship
I have a love-hate relationship with Satan. He takes the things I preach and uses them to manipulate. It's brilliant. It's human. I'll finish explaining in the video.
Insightful stuff. I definitely agree with this. I've been trying to read Satan in these first two books by looking at his use of rhetoric to cloud the truth and justify himself. Rhetoric strikes me as perhaps the most "human" way of communicating, too, because of the way it works to appeal both to human emotion and human logic (as well as its potential for misuse). Satan, of course, is a master of it which makes him oddly likable (for lack of a better word).
