Paradise Lost: The Video Game

This is going to be a quick post. As you might have deduced from the intro screen to the right, I found an old Amiga game of Paradise Lost, and I wanted to share it. I haven't had much of a chance to play it yet, but I watched the intro in all of its glory, so I decided to screencast a portion of it below (I had to speed up portions because they insisted on 25 seconds of "But then..." and 20 or so seconds of frolicking animals). You can find info and screenshots here and the game itself and the Amiga emulator for free here.

  2. Ha, my mind has been blown. It actually really shows just how much Paradise Lost has influenced the world. I'm finding Milton everywhere now. I'm going to have to check this game out.

  3. I'm curious how much of the game was inspired by the epic poem. When it comes to slasher films, porn (I'm told), and Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" the plot is a superficial excuse, at best, for the action sequences. This sort of superficial inspiration seems common with things named after Milton's original.
