Looks like my post could use some revisio...Elitist? Looks like my post could use some revision. I'd consider myself among the dumb laboring oxen. I suppose the idea I'm fumbling towards is this: while the study of virtue should take priority over some forms of practical education, other forms of practical education (especially that of a laborer) can, and often should, precede a more rigorous study of classical ethics and philosophy.
